Money is the reason. Some people want a quick and easy fix/cure and will buy products that promote that fix/cure. Some people don't understand their diabetes and will believe someone on the internet but won't listen to their doctor.
There's a cover on the last ARRP magazine published with several articles inside. Diabetes keeps going up and as many of us have pointed out, too many that they know ignore the disease until it's out of control. In addition, many people pass around incorrect information and repeat old wives tales and a lot of B S.
There is no magic bullet.
To successfully manage diabetes means hard work and through trial and error finding out what works for you. Some/many diabetics want an easy option were they can eat what they want and not exercise.
Conmen and woman have no shame. They are there to rip the vulnerable and those with not much knowledge of the disease. Sadly there are many of sufferers who wants a quick fix or cure and voila, will LOOSE CASH. Beware Beware and Beware
Nan22 I agree with you there’s too many ads and junk out there to keep up with it. It’s a waste of time looking for the magic cure for this weird disease. Everyone needs to find what will work for them. Common sense works for me most of the time.
