I go to bed with a reading of 5.4. and I am over the moon with this. Next morning I take a fasting reading and its at 6.8.🤬 My last meal was yesterday's lunch so I am thinking its the dawn phenomenon of increased cortisol thats adding the extra 1.5 mmol/l to my reading. Its seldom that I see it come down at all before I have eaten my breakfast and pretty much I am super hungry by then. After all its been 18 hours. If I dont do the fasting I dont get the evening value down to below 5.8. I have… read more

I went to my doctor yesterday and had my A1C checked it had been 3 months since my last one. My last one was 5.9 which i was very proud of but when the doctor call me today about the one i had yesterday it was 6.3 . Now I'm very disappointed in myself i have worked so hard getting it down by eating better and losing 28 pounds so far , my problem is i don't know why it went to 6.3 cause i haven't done anything different from 3 months ago until now so I'm very confused why it went up. I am Diabetic 2 on 1000mg Glucophage but not working anymore want to try Ozempic
I have been on ozempic 1mg for a couple of months and that is all that I am taking for my diabetics. I dont particularly lose weight but my glucose levels are fantastic on it. Pricey but worth it
It's a recurring question - I try this or that but just can't seem to lose weight, what can I do?

I weigh myself once a week, same day. If I forget, it's two or three weeks. I am only looking for excessive weight loss or gain in case there's something going on that I'm not aware of .
Easy answer.........Stop buying it and learn to say No Thank You when offered.
Most days we will see that question posted up a number of times
There is no SIMPLE Answer
If you are Type 2 you have a Metabolic Disorder so there is no "list" that applies to all or even most of us, but that doesn't mean you don't have somewhere to start
If you are looking for a "basic list" then it's easier to say what you Shouldn't Eat
If you are looking to lower your Blood Sugar DO NOT EAT:
French Fries or any white potato, no white rice, no white pasta, no white bread, no muffins… read more
