I say eat limited carbs to bring your numbers up.

You should definitely notify your doctor or the the oral surgeons office. Let them know what's going on and see what their recommendations are.

What would your recommendations be for this situation?
Yes I had a fasting window but now after surgery I'm not able to maintain my blood sugars with the soft foods I can eat.
I'm assuming you had to have a fasting window for oral surgery. Was you allowed to take your anti diabetes medicine before surgery? I was always told to hold off on any anti diabetes meds before surgery. You liver simply could have ran of stored glucose during your prior surgery fasting.
If it continues to drop please notify your care team ASAP.
And keep quick carbs on hand.
Certain anti diabetes meds should be stopped 3 days before surgery. The GLP-1s a week before surgery.
If I ate 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes. My 2 hour would be 225. Not good for me. I cannot handle carbs.
Carbs and sugars raise blood glucose. If your number is low eat some.
