Thank you. Has anyone else had issues with the false reads on the sensor for libre 3 plus? This will be the 4th time I had to get a new sensor because of defects and false reads.

What are the best wearable glucose monitors for managing diabetes?

When it comes to wearable glucose monitoring, Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) are considered the gold standard. They use a small sensor placed under the skin to measure blood sugar every few minutes and send real-time alerts when levels go too high or too low.

Some well-known CGM options include:

- Dexcom G7 — Can connect directly to an Apple Watch
- FreeStyle Libre — Popular and widely covered by insurance
- Accu-Chek — More budget-friendly upfront CGMs can also pair with popular smartwatches so readings show right on your wrist, including:

- Apple Watch
- Samsung watches
- Fitbit
- Garmin watches

One important heads-up — smartwatches that claim to measure blood sugar on their own (without a CGM) have NOT been approved by the FDA and can give dangerously inaccurate readings. Stick to a proper CGM paired with a compatible smartwatch for reliable results.

Talking with a healthcare provider is the best way to find the right fit for your lifestyle, budget, and diabetes management goals.
