My average blood sugar is 6.
I’m usually asleep by 9:30pm
My blood sugar drops suddenly down around midnight.
It has been as low as 2.5!
I have 2 or 3 episodes over night.

Great advice. Some glucose meters needs calibration as well. I too would depend on the finger stick when it's reading that low.
Also @A DiabetesTeam Member sugars could be rebounding from stored sugars in your liver.

You should really let your doctor know if the finger stick is in line with the cgm.
Be sure to take your blood sugar to compair to your cgm and calibrate. When I started, mine read low too, but was in a normal range when I did a fingrstick.
Also, keep in mind you need a small snack before bedtime , esp cheese and peanut butter.
Good Luck! I've been able to lower my insulin with cgm readings and CLP-1 medications.
No. I have only known about this over the last 3 nights as I have only worn the cgm for 3 whole days. My blood sugars rise back up just as quickly if I get up and walk about for a few minutes.
I'm sorry about that. Those numbers drop dangerously low. Do you keep a quick carb by your bed?
Welcome aboard and into our family. How can we help and support you.
I always check my before eating number, my 2 hour number, my before bed number. If my before bed number is 5.7 or below I adjust my number by eating.
What medications are you doing. Be detailed.
Praying for you.
