Members shared deeply personal accomplishments in their diabetes journeys, celebrating milestones like significant A1C reductions, weight loss, and achieving remission through lifestyle changes. Several members described how exercise transformed their lives, with some hiking hundreds of miles or working out daily despite previously sedentary lifestyles, while others emphasized the mental shift of learning to understand and respect diabetes rather than fear it. A recurring theme was gratitude for early detection, consistent self-management, and the ripple effects of healthier habits that benefited not only themselves but also their loved ones.
