Pretty much until it's all out of your system

It reaches it's "half life" at 36 hours but can still effect blood sugar for a day or two after that

I believe they can be affected for between one and five days-the rise can sometimes be lessened by increasing/taking insulin,more exercise,and by adjusting what you eat.
