I did post up this video in response to a long post, but worth having a look

Novo Nordisk, one of the big drug and insulin mfg's is "finally" starting to talk truth to Diabetics who tend to have their heads stuck in the sand and most doctors seem to be fine with them that way

Have a listen

I’ve seen the ad and was glad to see them talk about the consequences of diabetes and the importance of control but I think the message needs to be stronger. As Jerrik says so many people don’t think it applies to them. I know to many diabetics that just say I like my sugar or pasta and potatoes and don’t change their eating habits.

I like this commercial and wish more people would heed the words. The comments on youtube about this commercial are from ignorant people and are foolish. The sooner you face you have diabetes and take care of yourself, the longer and better your life will be.

More ads like this is good but alot of people don't think it applys to them. @A DiabetesTeam Member using supplaments may help but if your sugars are still high you need meds. The proper diet also goes along way to control blood sugars.

I have seen that commercial for the last couple of months or so and have really liked it. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of the population take this seriously. It's really sad, because the medical complications are very real and in this day and age there are just no viable excuses.

Cheers to all of us that maintain tight control and those that are trying to.😊

It's a lot of hard work wirh dedication and discipline, but our lives and all those that are close to us are so worth it. Best of luck to everyone.
