My sugar levels are high but I take my Metformin,how do I get them down quickly?

@A DiabetesTeam Member Drinking water may help somewhat...best I know it takes a fast-acting insulin to bring blood sugar down quickly-and Metformin works differently than that. Have you asked your doc about insulin?

Hie.i agree with Becky fast acting will b taking a fast acting insulin but as she suggested you need to consult wth ur doc because metformin is an activator so maybe they shld start u on insulin.but fo the mean time try exercises taking walks ad drinking water
