@A DiabetesTeam Member hello I had low vitamin B12 levels for quite a few years and I needed to get the injection done every 3 months and occasionally months before I decided to get fitter and healthier when I turned 80 in 2021 and I started walking faster and further and I improved my diet and cut out carbs and sugar and I reversed my Diabetes type2 and reversed my lack of Vitamin B12 Bo 2023 and I d need to take Metformin now and I only occasionally need a Vitamin B12 injection if my blood tests show it is low. I’m in Remission from Diabetes type2 and I tested my blood sugar today and it was 5.1 around 92 USA readings
Recently it was 4.4 and 4.8 last week

I do take a daily probiotic. It's Bacid I have to take 2 capsules. I stopped processed and sugary foods years ago. I see my rheumatologist in September. I will ask her if there is a vitamin that will be beneficial for my condition. Thank you. Hugs

I have a gene mutation. It stops my body from absorbing B12. It is called MTFHR mutation. I got it from my parents. I am in remission also at this time. I'm happy you are in remission. Good job.
