Hi.ken.
Exercise is one way. Portion control on what you.eat.drink water
To stay hydrated. Have a good day.
You can have cirrhosis of the liver from other causes then alcohol, which at times causes ascites (accumulation of fluid in your abdomen).
Abdominal swelling has many causes, sometimes stomach or intestinal even, not just liver. In my case I have Gastroparesis, but not from diabetes. You may want to consult a gastrointestinal Md or speak to your doctor about the abdominal distensions.
Sit ups, push ups, jump rope, exercise period,it will drop your sugar down, and drink some Jamaican tea,it will also drop it down to 10 points every day,but I drink it every once in a while.
I also cannot exercise since several months now (since November 2019) due to back disc herniation and tear, and leg issues. I just watch what I eat, count calories, Carbs, Protein and Fats. I weighed 224 lbs in January and am at 216 lbs, no exercise, just watching my Carbs intake closely. It can be done but you need discipline to keep it up. Start slowly by decreasing your calorie intake and Carbs, let your body adjust to changes before you make new ones. Diagnosed in Aug 2019, but my A1C in June 2019 was 11.9, by Sept was 8.9 and this past March was 6.5 and according to my Freestyle Libre I am at 6.1 now
Does Diabetes make you hv Scoliosis of the liver even though I don't drink. My tummy swells like I'm looking pregnant. Has anyone ever heard of this???.
