I can't seem to get rid of it and wondered what has worked for you. In order to not have it, before developing t2, I had to weigh around 110 pounds, which may seem like it's very small… read more

Members shared strategies for reducing belly fat while managing type 2 diabetes, with the most consistent advice being to cut back on high-carb foods like potatoes, rice, pasta, flour, and sugar, which many found helpful in reducing abdominal weight. Several members emphasized that exercise, particularly walking with hiking poles for stability, cycling, and using a treadmill, combined with good posture and increased muscle tone, can make a meaningful difference, though belly fat is often the last to go. A recurring theme was the importance of staying hydrated, being patient with the process, and recognizing that factors like genetics, pregnancy history, PCOS, stress, and medications can all influence how and where the body stores fat.

My doctor watches my kidneys, as I have stage 4 Kidney disease. He also watches my heart and blood pressure. I think that belly fat for women may be related to genetic, how many pregnancies you've had, PCOS polycystic ovarian syndrome, and how much exercise you have.
