A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Petersburg, Ontario

Hi, wondering if anyone is on Treseba (the long acting insulin) and if so did you have any "undocumented" side effects?

Lantus Vs The Other Long Lasting Insulins

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm on Lantus-20 units at night, Trulicity .75, and Novolog sliding scale. My insurance will no longer pay for Lantus. The alternates are Basaglar, Levemir, and Tresiba. Which one is the best? I hear there is a trial going on for a weekly long lasting insulin. Any thoughts?

I spoke to my endocrinologist on the phone and decrease or increase my amount of Tresiba every 5 days instead of each day. I originally took 120 Tresiba and have now cut it down to 80 Tresiba per day… read more
