Hi, wondering if anyone is on Treseba (the long acting insulin) and if so did you have any "undocumented" side effects?
I have been on Treseba now for almost 6 months along with taking Rapid insulin at meals.
I am noticing that I have had to increase my before bedtime Treseba dose to more than what I was taking on 50/50 and it doesn't seem to be managing my AIC levels as well as my 50/50 insulin did.
I also have had feeling of shortness of breath at times so my Ventalin usuage has also… read more
Does anyone ever have a problem with slow injections with the Tresiba pen , I mean slow !!!
My doctor put me on insulin a month ago and I am now taking Tresiba. I just want to know how has it affected anyone. I take 20 units a day along with two glyburide pills (5 mg a piece).
Within the last 3 years I have been getting a spreading burning sensation off and on. I will inject into either the left or right side and a painful burn will spread from the site and go across my belly to the other side. It's not from going too fast.. Anyone else run into this?
I am a type 1 diabetic and years after being introduced to Lantus insulin recently made a switch to Treshiba which is a much more stable insulin. I still take Humalin R which is a short acting insulin and it's been recommended to me by my health care team not my family doctor though to switch to a rapid insulin to be taken at meal times
I'd like to hear from those of you who have made a like switch and whether the rapid insulin has caused weight gain and if so how much? As well, the pros and… read more
I'm on metformin been for four years and it works good for me
I have a question for other members. I see my doctor regularly and he has adjusted meds in the past. I am currently taking 1000 mg Metformin twice daily, 5 mg Glyberide twice daily, and Tresiba 150 units once per day. Sugars seem controlled OK - AIC is usually just over 7.0.
Is this comparable to you guys ? (I never get to compare with others....)
My Lantus was changed to Trulicity. Hoping I don’t have issues with this. Plus other meds were changed due to what is covered by my medical. So a new round plus meter ugh! Appreciate any and all help. Tyvm Hugs 🤗
Wow Mike good for you to lose weight. Is the weight loss from Bariatric surgery OR on your own? Are you still a diabetic?
