I haven't been able to eat properly for weeks. I haven't had my GLP-1 for 2 weeks. I drink 1 meal replacement shake daily. My family is concerned because I no longer eat meals with them. I know not eating isn't good foor me

Members rallied around a question about losing appetite as a diabetic, offering both emotional support and gentle encouragement to keep eating even in small amounts. Several members shared that sitting with family, eating small portions, or drinking high-protein meal replacement shakes can help when appetite is low, and one member was motivated to eat when her granddaughter expressed concern. A recurring theme was that stress and mental health can play a big role in appetite loss, and that nourishing yourself matters so you can care for the ones you love.

A diet of nothing but those meal replacement shakes is not very good for you. Almost killed a co-worker of mine a few years back because he was doing the same. thing. You need to eat something. Maybe just have a small bowl of cereal with a banana.

Joyce as much as you don’t want to eat you have to try to eat some food. I am never hungry at dinner time we have our main meal at 2:00 pm. At dinner time I have something lite all because I don’t want to take my meds on an empty stomach. Otherwise I am not hungry at all . Praying you eat 🙏❤️🥰

I was in remission. But had to take a shot 2 weeks ago. My numbers haven't been over 130 of the mornings, and 125 at bedtime. My granddaughter asked me why don't I eat, and why am I so little. 😞
She brought me food and I did eat for her. No way do I ever what that child to be sad because of me.
She calls me the little parent.

I'm due for labs soon. Idk, maybe I'm lacking something. I do have a genetic mutation that prevents me from absorbing somethings. Vitamin d and B12 are 2 of those things
