I’ve avoided many foods that I’m slowly bringing back. I quit beans, brown rice, most fruit but I am finding as long as I eat the serving size I’m fine. I need to cut back on the fat which is a bit tougher since that was what I have been doing high protein, high fat. Always learning and changing. I avoid the empty carbs, white rice, white bread, sugar and processed foods, I try to stick with Whole Foods.

Yes. @A DiabetesTeam Member plates his food on a 7 inch plate. My grandma would eat her food out of portion sized cups. Remember, portion control is important.
