So after going to the hospital my blood sugar is back to normal. Then today it was super low my eyes got blurry and I fell back into my best friend. Luckily he was a paramedic. Is there anything I can carry to make sure this doesn't happen again.
I bought glucose tablets from Amazon and they're in my kitchen cupboard. I never have had to use them but I put some in a small bottle and in my purse, Be prepared!
I don't know why medical people don't give you a list of things you might want to have when you find out you have diabetes! It really annoys me. Grrrr!
They have the glucagon injection kits. They are expensive. I keep glucose tablets close by. They are cheap and works well for me. The also have the gel packs that dissolve on your tongue.
Werthers Original Butter candies is a great choice. And the taste is amazing.
I personally keep lifesavers individually wrapped mints in my pockets.
I also keep a couple of Mini Kind bars, with nuts and dried fruit for 4 net carbs each.
I carry Werther's original butter cañdies just in case l experiece any aweful feelings but thank God that seldom happens
I carry Packets of sugar. Poor in my mouth under my tongue and allow to melt.
