23 July
Fbs 3,8.
PP 4,6 which I am happy about.
24 July
No Fbs as I couldn’t draw blood. I wasted 5 strips.
PP 3.3.
This I find concerning after eating a bowl of oats, strained low fat Greek yoghurt, 3/4 small banana and a cup of filter coffee with almond milk.
26 July
Fbs 2.9
PP 4,7 which I am happy about. I had exactly the same breakfast as on 24 July.
My hands are always washed with soap, dried throughly on a clean towel and the battery in my Acc-Check Active monitor is brand… read more
Hi. Around 3.5 for 2 hour for a nondiabetic or a prediabetic is not that unusual.
Our middle baby boy can eat 30-45 carbs and his 2 hour number can run around 3.5.
His 2 hour numbers are often significantly lower than his before eating number.
Since you don't know your before eating number. I would not be overly concerned.
Praying for you. Love you always. Enjoy your day and just let it slide.

If you are struggling with high blood sugar, please seriously consider going back to basics. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
Start a food diary to see what food might be causing your BS to be raised and which might be making you feel just so-so.
Practice portion control.
Eat only Diabetic friendly meals.
White foods, sugar, white bread, pizza, pasta, white potatoes and so on will elevate your BS and you will feel unwell.
Slowly cut carbs.
If you don’t have kidney problems, hydrate well.
If overweight, you will need to lose.
If you are not exercising, start by taking short walks and then extending them, little by little.
If you constantly feel under par, you should consider making an appointment to see your Health Care Professional, as you might need a reassessment of your meds.
You need to keep your BS stabilised to stop highs and low which will lead to cumulative damage. 🤗
In the USA Walmart sells a meter with strips that are now down to 12.5 cents each. This allows me to test my BG often. If I eat something questionable, I like to test every 10 or 15 minutes for a few hours to find the spike or spikes. I am unwilling to ignore spikes. I can remember when strips used to cost double or triple that amount and I was reluctant to test very often. I posted this because you were concerned about wasting 5 strips.
