@A DiabetesTeam Member Yes, Lorna. I thought if I ate cheese instead of food with high carb content I would be in the clear but all the sodium and saturated fat weren't doing me any good in another way. My only solution was to cut out as much carb as possible. I eat a lot of canned fish and chicken and cook lots of lentils and navy beans. I slice up zucchini, onion, bell pepper, etc and add to the broth I cook the beans in. I know you're more sophisticated than I am when it comes to cooking but with me I have to grit my teeth and abstain from the carbs as much as possible.

When I did attempt Ensure, I was horrified at the sugar content, after being diagnosed as a pre diabetic. 🤗💕
