I was inactive for most of my adult life. I began using a treadmill every day. I started out doing just a little bit and increased over time. I began losing weight only walking a mile or two at the beginning. I now walk 6 miles a day. I lost 70 lbs, much of it doing just that mile or two. You also have to change your diet to get results.

Personally I love getting outdoors in the fresh air to do my walking exercise, however, I combine the exercise with eating healthy food and It is keeping my distance type 2 in Remission and I don’t have to take any medication like Metformin

Thank you Jolyne. I have just started to walk 2-3 miles a day. I am aiming for 5days a week. I have changed my diet as well. I will keep walking.
