Members opened up about what keeps them feeling connected while managing a chronic condition, with many sharing that family, friends, pets, and online communities like this one are their greatest sources of comfort. Several members described finding unexpected support through hobbies like collecting, watching sports, going to the gym, and enjoying TV shows, while others leaned on the unconditional love of rescue dogs and even visits from wildlife. A recurring theme was that this community fills a gap left by loved ones who struggle to understand chronic illness, reminding members that even in their loneliest moments, they are truly not alone.

This team has been a big support as I live alone. I enjoy a good documentary or a mystery on tv in the evening. I have a routine that I try to follow and on my worst of days I believe this daily routine has been a support.

You can be alone but not lonely. Sometimes I like to be alone, most time I like to be with people. It depends.
