I was prediabetic and had no problem keeping weight off as I was going to the gym 5 days a week. Morning Cardio routine. Evening weight training. Then, last December, I developed an abscess that got infected and that's when everything changed. I found out that my pancreas was failing and that I had stage 3 CKD to go along with my heart conditions. After that, the weight just started going up and down until they put me on insulin. I've gained quite a bit of weight since and I am starting on Ozempic to help with that. This year has been the most challenging year for my body, and that's saying a lot since I had a stroke and open heart surgery in 6 months back in 2020-21. Diabetes is terrible... but, we March on & continue to push ourselves!

Yes that’s why there are so many South Africans in Oz and NZ
Trying to get away from a terrible situation.

I followed Gregg Norman. He was my hero.
I even dressed like him, except I wore a skirt.
I wore his straw hats, which I could only purchase in the States and I was referred to as “the woman in the hats”, when I was playing in competitions at other clubs.

A tip of his that stuck with me, was to tee my ball very high (extra long tees) and hover my driver. I never grounded my driver.
I hovered it and It worked magically.
Back swing was slower and the ball flew without any effort.
Just timing. 🤗 Try it.

But I will refuse to call you Meanstreak 🤣
I bought a brand new set of Ping golf clubs in the USA. I had special shaft covers and toe covers made for the journey back home.
That night I “undressed” my family of golf clubs and placed them next to my side of the bed !
After all, family sticks together doesn’t it! 🤣

Of course I’ll address you as Meanstreak. 🤗
I meant if you visit South Africa.
But It’s not exactly a good place to visit in these times, as crime is out of all proportion.
There is corruption from the top down.
We are listed as the 3rd most violent country in the World, (Google)
Only Venezuela and Afghanistan beat us.

About golf and that little hole, the saying is “drive for show and putt for dough” 🤣
