If you take it on a full stomach (mixed in with food) then it passes to the intestines without irritating the stomach
Just make it a habit so you don't forget as in just before supper everyday
When, during the day you take it makes no difference. A dose of metformin stays working in your system for 48 hours so you always have at least a couple doses floating around in there, but the same time everyday (whenever that is) is best management practice
@A DiabetesTeam Member hello I was taking Metformin for my late onset Type 2 diabetes for some years but I have been a been able to get off medication for Diabetes by eating healthy foods and not eating ice cream, cake or fattening foods like chips and dips and by walking exercise I am now in remission
