One thing I wish people could understand about type 2 diabetes is how some people misunderstand the need to monitor blood sugar and regularly check. Why? For example, I may feel like my sugar is low and my body may be screaming for me to eat more sugar. Hence, the need to monitor blood sugar levels and therefore I will check it could be where it’s good between the 70-140 range. I can tell when my sugar is to high or to low. I've been diabetic for 14 years. But I still log my numbers for my doctor. So we can come up with a treatment plan that suits my needs.
