I have been T2 for 28 years and am so sick of pricking my finger a few times a day. I've read about new technology similar to the oxygen level finger holding devices, that allows for BG testing. Has anyone tried them, where do you get them, or are they [as I've been told] all just scams to get your money?

I would not use the type you are referring to. Alot of these new devices have not been cleared through the FDA. It could mean life or death.
I should have added I am in NZ and the CGM systems are only funded for T1 and are VERY EXPENSIVE to pay for yourself, so it's something I have been avoiding.
Yes, there are legitimate alternatives to finger prick testing! The most reliable alternative is a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). These systems use a tiny sensor implanted under your skin that continuously measures your glucose levels.
