Is this a diabetic experience. I poke my thumb into my fingers to stop the tingling.
If you have somewhat advanced neuropathy in your feet/lower legs then it could be now moving into your hands (the other extremities)
But if you "don't have" significant neuropathy in your feet/legs it is "unlikely but not impossible" that it is neuropathy and I would be ruling out a few other conditions "first"
As suggested carpel tunnel would be a leading contender and would make more sense absence of feet/leg issues
I have it in my right hand thumb, pointer and middle finger but I’m 99.9 percent sure it’s carpal tunnel and it never goes away. I’ll be seeing my hand doctor in Feb. it’s best to get it checked out.

I wonder if the cause might be the position a person habitually sleeps in. Just a thought.
It is neuropathy, I suffer from it, has now gone into my fingers so much that I can't button my shirt.
