Members connected over the challenges of insomnia and painful leg cramps related to diabetes, with several sharing that they initially thought insomnia worsened diabetes but learned the relationship can work in both directions. Many members recommended magnesium glycinate as a natural muscle relaxer for leg and foot cramps, with practical guidance to take 200 to 250 mg daily for both cramp relief and improved glycemic control. A recurring theme was the mutual support and practical tips exchanged, from standing up during cramps to discovering supplements that address multiple symptoms at once.

It has many benefits, but 200 to 250 mg. daily is sufficient. Don't take to much. It helps glycemic control also.
