Members shared their favorite peanut butter brands after someone was advised to choose one with only peanuts, with popular recommendations including Peter Pan, Kraft no salt or sugar added, Teddie's non-GMO peanut butter, and Smuckers natural varieties. Several members highlighted the benefits of shopping at health food stores or Whole Foods where fresh peanut butter is ground on-site from dry roasted peanuts, avoiding the added oils, salt, and sugar found in many commercial brands. A recurring theme was the importance of reading labels carefully to find options that fit personal dietary needs, whether for diabetes management, denture-friendly textures, or simply preferring the taste of pure, unsweetened nut butters.

I just look for the lowest sugar/salt/fat/carb/calories one or go to my local healthfood shop where they grind fresh dry roasted peanuts to make their own fresh peanut butter or I buy walnut/almond/cashew nut butters occasionally. Its well worth looking for a healthfood shop that makes their own peanut butter cos I find commercial ones come with a puddle of oil on the top.

I use a natural organic from Costco. I personally don’t like peanut butter with added sugar so haven’t eaten it in years.
