What I can afford is the best place to start. 2 slice's toasted brown bread with half a teaspoon of peanut butter(cheaper than to bake ), except if someone of the team has a tried and tested cheap option

Eggs are one of the least expensive protein sources here. So it is a go to for many.

My meals often look like stir-fry, eggs, soup, salads or some combination of the above. It doesn't matter what time of day. So sometimes it looks like I'm eating breakfast 3xs a day, sometimes it can look like evening meal 2-3x a day.

I don't care about what is meal appropriate food.

Since I'm not sure what you have avalibe that you can afford it's hard. My go to breakfast has eggs which you can't afford right now. Just remember you don't have to eat breakfast food for breakfast.
