Well, fellow Diabetics, the weight loss people sucking up Ozympic has finally hit my son. When he went to the pharmacy to get his 1.0 Ozympic, the pharmacist had to give him two packs of the 0.5 and advise he has to inject two of those, rather than just one injection. I understand your frustration.

But the fact is doctors love free enterprise and the samples that pharmaceuticals provide, up there ability to help people.

So they will continue to go off reservation.

The good news is they are increasing their production capabilities.

So this is a shorter term problem.
There are daily injections of the same medication available. The half strength pens are available, so you have to do 2 injections a week. And there are pills available.

So we aren't left in a lurch yet.

Check with your insurance before getting two pens and doing two injections per week. I take 2mg per week and the pharmacy filled the prescription with two 1 mg pens. Next month I found out that my insurance considered it a two month supply. They only pay for one pen a month no matter what the dosage is.
