Christopher is talking about the glucose tolerance test.
There are a few ways to tell you if you have Diabetes, and what kind. Taking blood work once will not give an answer. If you are having other symptoms this will also tell the doctor of your condition. Ex. Sugar highs/lows, needing to drink more then usual, peeing more then usual, moodiness if you haven't eaten or if you just ate alot of sugar, dizziness, passing out after not eating or eating, getting shakes after eating or not eating.
Going for my a1c to.orrow..on no meds. Last count was 5.5
