Tomorrow I'm going to try making pancakes with almond flour to see if I can lower my after meal blood sugar

This is called mug bread. You can put in a mug and micro for 90 sec then cut in 4 peices and toast them. They make a good breakfast sandwich like mcmuffin. I also put in Tupperware container with rounded bottom and about as round as hamburger bun. I cut in half resulting in flat bottom and ruined top like a hamburger bun

I also just used this recipe and poured into waffle maker and they turned out perfect. I made a breakfast with them. I'll find pic to share

Bannanas and sweet patotoe are high in carbs will definently spike blood sugars. Heres a recipe that will not spike blood sugar and very delish...
Now mind you we must keep carb count and idea carb count for breakfast is 6 grams carbs
So I would eat 2 pancakes with tbis recipe had bacon or uncured ham my coffee with hwc and stevia you will be full and n a hr or 2 post check bs ....if you do this recipe let me kniw tou numbers...

@A DiabetesTeam Member Sooo... drumrolls please... hehe, they came out decent, I believe they were around 4 inches I made 2 with a total of 16g of carbs, the texture is slightly different, a hint of egginess but that can be masked a little with vanilla extract, I think I can live with that :) will see what my numbers think in a couple hours

you can make banana or sweet potato pancakes with no flour -just eggs & they come out good.
