Members responded to concerns about severe ankle pain upon waking or after sitting, with many suggesting it could be arthritis or neuropathy and strongly encouraging a doctor visit for proper diagnosis. Several members recommended turmeric or curcumin supplements as a natural anti-inflammatory, with one sharing success using cumin tabs with turmeric in Australia that eliminated arthritic pain after one course, while others suggested practical strategies like compression stockings and checking vitamin D levels. A recurring theme was balancing natural remedies with professional medical guidance, as members emphasized the importance of ruling out serious issues like circulation problems while exploring affordable, holistic options.

Hi it sounds like arthritis to me. You need to get it checked at your GP.

Turmeric or curcumin works WONDERs as an anti inflammatory and it is inexpensive....I swear by it....if you find that your ankles are swollen....talk to a cardiologist....there could be a circulation issue there.....

Have you been to see a doctor or health care practitioner. Here in South Africa we have Diabetic Clinics and you can go to them. If they think it's necessary they will refer u to your Dr.

I'm not at all sure what the problem is but if your bones hurt it might be worth having your Vitamin D levels checked
