I would like to know if anyone has tricks to keep it down. SInce I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 2 years ago my pressure high, but my diabetes is stable. Any ideas or tricks would be appreciated. Thanks
My blood pressure was high before I was diagnosed type 2. I'm on three different meds for bp. I have lost 25 lbs and could stand to lose another ten but not more than that. I though the weight loss would help with the blood pressure, but it hasn't. The problem for me is on the days I work, my sugar is stable. I'm guessing that's because I burn lots of calories, but my pressure is high. When I'm off work the opposite happens. It sometimes feels like a lost cause, but I try to keep good spirits about it all.
I have Diabetes and my Blood Pressure is up and down. When that starts Sugar to high and blood pressure high I get very tensed.
Truthfully, I think that I really benefited from stopping all processed food. That means no canned, boxed, dried foods or processed meat. My weight went down as well as my high blood pressure went down. I never salt any thing.
