My neurologist prescribed gammagard which is a sterilized solution made of human plasma and is injected through an IV. It is used as maintenance therapy to improve muscle strength in person's with neuropathy. I went for this infusion for 18t months. Each treatment was for 12 hours over a day period, done every 3 months. Although the disease will never be cured, I have no tingling in hands and very little in my feet and if it should return, neurologist will send e back to resume treatment.
