Being a type 2 diabetic, I am confused which information is accurate when it comes to exercising before or after breakfast. The info I read states I'll burn more calories and lose weight if I exercise before breakfast whereas I'll won't build muscle mass but rather destroy the muscle mass.

Members shared mixed experiences about whether to exercise before or after breakfast as a type 2 diabetic, with many favoring morning movement to jumpstart metabolism and burn stored fat for energy. Several members described practical approaches that worked for them, including walking before breakfast, splitting exercise into shorter sessions throughout the day, or moving immediately upon waking to help muscles and manage blood sugar. A recurring theme was the importance of monitoring for low blood sugar when exercising fasted and finding a personalized routine that fits individual schedules and bodies.

I exercise before breakfast, as I believe that then stored fat is required for energy rather than the breakfast.
