I'm somewhat bad at exercising because I'm so fatigued by kidney failure but I have noticed my BS is really good after milking around at the mall and once at IKEA.

Hi Bonnie Lass. Always between meals when the stomach is empty. Drink water before and after, when necessary, to lose appetite. I find work outs on a full or half full stomach too difficult for digestion.

After meals. I find it helps with the BS and gets me to burn what I have eaten. I like to walk after breakfast and dinner!

Before usually. My precious dog, Jack, is ready to head out the door as soon as possible. We don't walk, we go on adventures. When we return, we are ready for breakfast.

I usually walk after meals, unless my BS is extremely high then I'll go ahead before lunch or supper. Never a walk before breakfast though as my sugar is usually on the low side.
