Members eagerly shared their favorite free apps for tracking carbohydrates in response to someone asking for recommendations, with MyFitnessPal emerging as the clear community favorite for its ability to track not just carbs but also fat, protein, and calories across thousands of foods including restaurant items. Several members highlighted practical features they love, including the ability to input custom recipes for automatic nutritional calculations, search extensive food databases, and use the app on both iPhone and Android devices. A recurring theme was the relief of finding user-friendly tools that simplify daily carb counting, though one member also mentioned CarbsControl as a worthwhile paid option at just two dollars.
