Ingredients
Mousse

- 2 tablespoons natural almond butter
Berry Compote
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 chopped Medjool dates (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon unsweetened vanilla extract
Instructions
Mousse
- Place avocados in a food processor; blend until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, dates, almond milk, vanilla, and salt. Process until creamy and well combined.
- With the processor running, slowly pour in melted chocolate and almond butter. Blend until completely smooth.
- Divide mixture among six small serving bowls.
- Cover each bowl with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface of the mousse.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.
Berry Compote
- In a medium saucepan, combine berries, water, and chopped dates.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce to low and cook for 5–7 minutes until berries soften and mixture thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
- Let cool completely.
- Spoon the cooled berry compote over each serving of mousse before serving.
