Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member

My husband has type two diabetes and high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He was given 4 different medications including the Ozempic and synjardy xr (also, rosuvastatin and valartan) would it be better, in the interest of not taking four new medication starting all at once to choose one of the diabetic treatments and see how it goes before incorporating the other? Curious what anyone else’s experience has been.
This is extremely helpful. Thank you so much.
I'm using tresiba in the morning based on my waking numbers. Then breakfast and 4 mg of glipermide at breakfast and dinner then 120 mg of starlix at dinner. Hi Rene can you please give me an idea of what makes up your carbs for your 3 meals,
My partner was diagnosed with diabetes a few years ago and was placed on metformin. He struggled to tolerate it as first but seems to be better managed with it now. We keep hearing of other people using newer drugs for their diabetes and obviously see all the adverts on TV. Does anyone have any feedback on these drugs and whether they feel better controlled on them than on metformin?
Sorry diamacron not diaformin
