I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 3 years ago, and have been struggling with insomnia for a while now. It is a struggle to exercise when I’m feeling so tired and worn out all I want to do is sit down! I’ve tried using melatonin with no affect. Does anyone have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate feedback thanks

Ever since I was diagnose, my sleep cycle is usually interrupted ever couple of hours so I can pee. I don't take insulin and I take oral medication. I have difficulty with sudden urge to pee during the day and sleeping through the night. Any reason?
Today I’m going to relay a personal story which may shed some light on why I’m so engaged in everything Diabetes.
I’m going to tell you the story of my father.

It wasn’t much of a surprise. Both his parents were Type 2 as was every one of his 9 uncles/aunts and his grandfather.
