Meal time insulin is coming for sure. I see my Dr. in September and my am and pm bs are very high. The increase of Toujeo to 80 units is not bringing it down. I really don't like all this testing I will be doing. I have never had to worry about low bs. How do these pumps work? Will they help me have less needle sticks? Do they administer insulin? NP told me I did not need Humalog for eating times. She said all I need is Lantus. Is this true? My sugar was in the 300-400 until a doctor said , yes I need to take Humalog at times when I eat.
