Is there a diet plan that tells you what to eat each meal. I don't mean a diet that gives you a bunch of choices. A diet that is specific on what you should eat. I have a hard time keeping my blood sugar down. I am on 70-30 novalog. I will follow an exact diet but without choices. that is where I get into trouble. I love food

I am thinking of trying the keto diet or Paleo diet. any input on that? I take insulin right now but I wonder if it will help me get off of it or use less.

2:5 Diet

HI, My ortho surgeon is suggesting I try the 2:5 diet, fast two non consecutive days a week 500 calories only then eat normally 5 days a week.
Has anyone been doing this diet?
How do you find it impacts Type II diabetes ?
Are you getting god results?

I am a little limited due to low renal function and the IBS. The diabetic diet and renal diet can be a little difficult to navigate at times.
