Hi everyone, i was put on to the Bydureon weekly injection last month, as my Metformin wasn't bringing my sugars down enough. The first 4 weeks i only experienced nausea and feeling jittery for the first day but it then wore off, my sugars came down lovely. So i thought.. Result

Hi,
Can you replace Insulin/ lantus/ with Byduren?
Thank you.
Was recently diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic. My original Glucose A levels were 11.2. Two weeks later (Feb 1) my A1C A level was measuring 10. I've changed my diet (following Dr Gundry food guide), no red meats, no dairy, mostly fish, chicken, turkey and lots of veggies/greens. Am down 16lbs so far (20 to go). I'm determined to defeat this diabetes with heathier food plan and exercise. Question/curious, how long do your figure it takes for one to see changes in A1C levels (without medications) or… read more

I like that it curbs your appetite, but it boosts me and makes me burp so bad. All day. So does anyone else have this problem?
Me too... It's bad for about hours after I take it.
Is anyone else having a problem with their Trulicity prescription? I have been unable to get Trulicity 4.5. I was able to get a 1.5 thru another pharmacy. It is very frustrating. I have been told that it is a national issue and may take several months to overcome.
My insurance has decided to make Victoza non-formulary so I'm having to switch to Bydureon. Is anyone using this? I've only been on Victoza for 5 mos and was doing pretty good with it, tho my morning nos have increased slightly. I've been able to decrease Lantus to just 6 units at bedtime and eliminate Novalog altogether. Did not lose any weight but still liked this med. I wish ns companies would not mess with what meds peoe can take.
My doctor wants me to start taking Bydureon injections. I haven’t read or heard too many good things from other people who have tried it and the side effects really worry me. Anyone on here currently or previously taken this medication? If so, what was your experience and did it help your diabetes?
Yes, it was ok for me but my insurance didn’t cover it so my doctor put me on something else.
Omg🙏
