I have been told that after having this surgery I would no longer have to treat my diabetes. However I am wondering if I would be trading one set of problems for another. Since I have a weight problem being approved is not a problem, but I prefer to do things as naturally as possible. Some insight would be helpful and appreciated.
My Lantus was changed to Trulicity. Hoping I don’t have issues with this. Plus other meds were changed due to what is covered by my medical. So a new round plus meter ugh! Appreciate any and all help. Tyvm Hugs 🤗
My Bariatric doctor wants me to change the medication that will help lose weight I just wonder if there is any in pill form. I am on Glipizide now but my doctor says that it causes weight gain.I am not good with needles. Just taking my sugars I have to close my eyes. I had gastric sleeve surgery in June of this year and my sugars are still not under control. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thank You
Katherine may be right. I found that doctors are so specialized, they don't know anything except their speciality. May I suggest adding an endocrinologist to your list of doctors.?
The problem I have is, I only eat meat and chips.
Cannot eat veg it makes me have a very sickly feeling then puts me off my grub I also eat very little fruit as well.
Due to this, my blood sugar fluctuates sometimes anyone else has this problem
