I have been taking prandin for a while along with januvia. My question is can I try this amaryl along with my januvia? Do I need to ask my doctor if I could switch prandin to amaryl and continue with my januvia?

I was on Januvia I had to get off I bought pancreatitis has no cure. No other pain is close to it not even morphine will take it away. I was in hospital for 39 days.

My dr has prescribed Metformin and Amaryl and it does a pretty good job of keep my sugar levels down. The trouble is every time I eat, I have to rush to the restroom, in hopes I make it there, because it gives me diarrhea. Anyone else dealing with this?

I take 500mg ER Metformin and Amaryl. My morning readings are still over the "normal" limit and are reaching 200-300 by noon? I have cut down on my eating, drink water all day. I just don't understand it. Anyone else have this problem?
