My doctor recommended every 3 months. I am a chronic care patient, and have had kidney issues in the past. Also my bilirubin enzymes are high often.

In Canada the national guidelines say:
Twice a Year (every 6 months) for controlled or managed A1C levels, OR,
Every 3 months for uncontrolled A1C OR actively adjusting medication levels
It used to be Once a Year if you were in Clinical Remission, but that changed last year just to streamline things - I don't mind, I have to check my Kidneys every 6 months anyhow so whats one more vial of blood? 😁

I have My Chart. I get my lab results with recommendations before my doctor does. If it is something serious the nurse will send me a message. I wished you had this kind of access.
