There is currently no cure. I have done a lot of research. I am in remission. Long term remission is possible with diet and life style changes. I had to stop Metformin because of side effects. I was able to tolerate it for 3 years. It helped get my A1C from a 14 to a more better level. Plus I put in the work, I didn't depend entirely on the medication.
