- Switch up movement — If walking is too painful, a stationary bike or elliptical can be easier on the feet while still keeping you active
- Chair exercises — These are great when standing feels unsafe or too painful
- Physical therapy (PT) — A PT can teach exercises tailored to your specific limitations
- Protect your feet daily — Check your skin every day for sores, blisters, or injuries you might not feel due to numbness
- Proper footwear — Supportive shoes reduce pressure points and lower injury risk
- Pain management — Doctors can prescribe medications to help with nerve pain, so it's worth having that conversation The most important step is keeping blood sugar levels as controlled as possible — this helps slow the progression of nerve damage. @Georgene Whittier is right, Georgene. Compression socks do help. Also, I believe any kind of movement is exercise. It doesn't need to follow a routine. Exercise increases blood flow that feeds the nerves and neuropathy is a condition of the nerves. Bye for now, Georgene.

Thought it’s easier to send a photo. I put 40 drops of rosemary essential oil, 20 drops of frankincense essential oil, 15 drops peppermint essential oil, 10 drops chamomile essential oil. I buy my oils from plant therapy.

@Georgene Maybe you can do some leg exercises sitting in a chair or laying in bed. Georgene, try exercising by sitting on a chair and lifting each leg, etc. Be creative. The goal should be just to move. 👍
