That is an interesting question. Protonix is usually used for acid reflux, not for managing diabetes. Some people have talked about possible effects on glucose, but it does not seem consistent or widely relied on. It would be interesting to hear if anyone here has noticed changes while taking it. Were you prescribed it for reflux or just came across it somewhere?
