Every urine test I have has blood in it. I find most of my autonomic body responses are out of whack. BP is low then high etc. Sugars increasingly difficult to regulate.

Members responded with care to a question about managing diabetes alongside chronic kidney disease, including symptoms like itching, feeling cold, blood in urine, and unpredictable blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Several members shared similar experiences, including recurring UTIs, fluctuating lab results like high BUN levels, and being monitored by urologists, offering reassurance that these challenges are not faced alone. A recurring theme was the importance of staying under medical care, leaning on faith and community support, and checking in with your medical team to understand how serious your situation is.

Thanks for responding Debs.
I never knew that you had CKD.
I’m thankful to know that you’re in the care of a Urologist.
I knew that you were battling with high blood sugar levels and have recently started a new diabetic med, and I thought that you appeared to be settling down with it now.
I’m so sorry that you have so many health issues.
Diabetes is an evil disease.
Take care 💕🙏

You’re definitely not alone in this. I’ve seen a lot of people with diabetes and kidney issues mention things like itching, feeling cold, and changes showing up in lab tests. It can be a lot to manage all together. How long have you been dealing with the kidney side of things?

@A DiabetesTeam Member Deb, how has your medical team been reacting to your situation? That's what I would go by. Do they feel it's serious? How serious? Or, not serious at all? Before you get possibly too concerned.
